The judging instructions of the Finnish character test
Qualities and character of Eico were playfully tested in April 2007 in the event called "Would my dog be suitable for protection work?" organised by
the Finnish Belgian Sheperd Breed Club. There you could have your dog play and become tested by trained IPO-helpers. The participating dogs were tested
for following qualities:
* drive level
* preying action
* defence action
* grip
* self-confidence.
At the age of only one year a little lack of self-confidence was obvious at the test, although Eico played with the helper very eagerly and without
hesitating. The helper (Pekka Haapalainen) thought, that by training Eico's qualities could be developed also for the protection work.
