14th January 2012 - 0-results for Talvihallan girls in agility!
Talvihallan Bilehile, Camiaca and Cuyama got again great results in agility:
- Camiaca got her last 0-result in the 1st class with 2nd place and time -2,03. She's now ready for the 2nd class only two weeks after having started competing.
- Cuyama got her second 0-result in the 1st class with 1st place and time -7,24.
- Hile got two 0-results in the 2nd class with the times of -6,15 and -4,18.
Many congrats to Pink & Jutta for finishing the 1st class and to Sysi & Hanna for the win!
6th January 2012 - Hile got two 0-results in agility and is ready for the 2nd class! Hile did two fine runs in agility and got 0 faults on both. On the first course of the day she got 2nd place with the time -13,29 and on the second run 3rd place with the time -13,20. Video of the first run can be seen here.
1st January 2012 - C-girls did their agility debute with 0-results!
Camiaca and Cuyama had an awesome start for their agility career and the new year of Talvihallan groenendaels: Camiaca did clean runs on the both courses of the day winning the jumping course and with 5th place on the agility course. Also Cuyama got her first 0-result on the agility course with 4th place, on the jumping course she got 5 faults. The debute of these girls that just recently reached the required age of 18 months for competing couldn't have been any better - many congrats Pink & Jutta and Sysi & Hanna!

11th December 2011 - 0-result for Bilehilein agility! Hile has started her agility career and done several good runs with 5 faults during the late autumn. She got her first 0 with the time -7,77 and 5th place on agility course. On the jumping course of the day the result was again 5 faults with 4th place due to the handler's blackout.
10th December 2011 - 1st prize for Cougarin obedience beginner class! Kete & Sari competed in obedience and got 170,5 points in the beginner class that means 1st prize and allowance to compete in the open class. Congratulations & way to go!

3rd October 2011 - Bregopassed the SAR test of the Finnish Police Force! Brego passed today the official search test of the Finnish Police Force and is now allowed to work as a SAR dog in emergency situations. Many congrats to Jenni & Urmo and thanks to Jenni for bringing Urmo to this level!
1st October 2011 - Halla got 1st prize in the winner class of obedience with 290 points and 1st place. She is now allowed to compete in the champion class of obedience.
24th September 2011 - Halla won gold medal in the Breed Championships! Halla competed in the Finnish Belgian Sheperd Championships in versatile search trial and won the gold medal with 275 p. (search trials 189 p.,86 obedience).
18th September 2011 - Hile got silver medal at the District Championships in tracking! Hile participated for the first time in the 3rd class tracking trial and got her first JK3 with 264 points (tracking trial 190, obedience 74) and the silver medal in the District Championships. There were 12 dogs taking part and three of them qualified at the trial.
28th August 2011 - Halla performed a winner class search trial in Vantaa and got 171 points from the search trial and 94 p. from obedience, total 265 points - HK3 and 2-result & 1st place.
27th August 2011 - Show results from Tervakoski: Bilehile got very good in working class and Cougar very good in junior class. The judge was Pia Prahl from Sweden. Thanks to Sari for showing Kete!
20th August 2011 - Show result from Nokia: Camiaca got excellent1 in the junior class. Congrats, Jutta & Pink!
14th August 2011 - Eico at the Finnish Working Championships! Eico got the 13th place (of 53 dogs) at the Finnish Working Dog Championships in tracking with the result of 85 p. in obedience and 174 p. in the tracking trial, total 259 p. and 2nd prize.
Eico was qulified for the tracking trial as the only long haired belgian sheperd and did great work considering that we met a wanderer on about halfway of our track. Eico managed to solve the problem of the false steps and we came through the trial.
13th August 2011 - Tha father of the planned D-litter, Imany got his second MR1 in Waidhofen, Austria, with 165 points. Many congrats to Imany & Sebastian!

- EK3 for Halla with 1st prize! Halla performed for the first time in the highest class of versatile search trial and got 198 points from the search trials and 97 from obedience. With the total points of 295 she got 1st prize and was the best dog of the day.
- Show results: Brego got very good in the working class in Salo and Cougar very good in the junior class in Kuopio international dog show. Thanks to Jenni & Sari for showing the boys!
31st July 2011 - 0-result for Halla in agility! Halla ran two agility courses in Janakkala and did a clean run on the first one with the time -7,06 and 6th place.

11th June 2011 - Halla got EK2, Brego passed the obedience test of rescue dogs!
In the hot summer weather Halla passed the versatile search trial of open class with 180 points from the search trials and 87 points from obedience and got the title EK2 with the total of 267 points.
At the same time Halla's son Brego passed the obedience test of rescue dogs with the note "good" and is allowed to enter the rescue dog trials this year. Congrats, Jenni & Urmo - great work!
Also the youngest Talvihallan generation has shown their skills; Camiaca won an unofficial agility competition with 0 faults just after having reached the age of 1 year! Congrats, Jutta & Pink! Just can't wait 6 months until this pair will be allowed to start at official competitions!
28th June 2011 - Eico became Finnish Working Champion!
Eico got the last qualifying tracking result in the highest class for the title of the Finnish Working Champion! He got 197 points from the tracking trial and 86 p. from obedience, total 283 p., 1st prize and 1st place.

Hile started the working season of Talvihallan groenendaels with tracking result JK2. She got 179 points from the tracking trial and 91 p. from obedience, total 270 points and first prize! This was a very good start for the season!

3rd April 2011 - Brego and Samuli Lappalainen finished the ski joring season by competing in Oulu and taking the winner's cup as the only competitors in their class. The time at the 5 km race was 13.04. Congratulations Urmo & Samuli and many thanks to Jenni for taking Urmo to training and races!
23rd Mar 2011 - Halla got again 0-result in agility! Halla ran two courses and was disqualified at the first one but did a clean run on the jumping course and got her fourth 0-result in the 3rd class. With the time -1,57 she got the 8th place.

27th Feb 2011 - Brego competed at the Finnish Championships in ski joring! With his skier Samuli Lappalainen Urmo got 6th place at men's 10 km race with the time 26.46,5. At the relay Urmo's team got 4th place. Congratulations to Urmo & Samuli and thanks to Jenni for keeping Urmo in such a good condition!
20th Feb 2011 - Hile got silver medal at the district championships in ski joring! Her time on the 5 km race was 10.43 (class women line B).

27.11.2010 - Show results from Tampere: California,Camiaca and Cougar were shown at the Tampere puppy show with excellent results. Camiaca was BOB with honour prize and California got 2nd place with HP. Also Cougar did a fine debut but this time didn't get HP because of "too big ears" according to the judge. Many congrats to Pink & Jutta and thanks also to Sari for showing Kete!
7th November 2010 Halla jumped into the 3rd class in agility! Halla continued her fast moves at agility courses in Lieto and got 0-result and certificate for the 3rd class from the first course of the day with 1st place!
24th October 2010 - 0-result for Halla in agility! Halla competed for the first time in agility after the puppies and got her second 0-result in the 2nd class with 2nd place. From the other course of the day she got 5 faults. Also Eico ran two courses and got 5 faults from both of them.

21st March 2010 - Brego competed in the Finnish Championships of ski joring. The distance of 10 km was a little bit too long for our young boy, but with Samuli Lappalainen Brego performed it in 33.12 minutes and 6th place. Many thanks to Samuli for skiing with Brego and to Jenni for her acitivity. This year Brego has shown us very promising qualities for ski joring and we have a good reason to expect good results in the coming years after Brego has got more strength.
Also Halla was supposed to start at the Finnish Championships of ski joring, but we had to cancel the race because Halla started her heat. So our puppy plans took a step forward and Halla will be inseminated within the coming weeks. You can read more about our plans on the puppies page.
13th March 2010 - 0-result for Halla in agility! Halla competed two courses in agility and got finally the first 0-result in the 2nd class with -7,45 seconds time and 2nd place. The second course of the day went with 15 faults.
7th March 2010 - Hile started her working dog career by competing in ski joring: in the class women line B she got the very promising 5th place (out of 11) with the time 15.08 at the 5 km race.
The competition was also the breed championship for Belgian Sheperds, in which Hile got the 4th place. This was a very good start for the future!
13th February 2010 - Brego competed in ski joring: In Hämeenlinna in the class men line B with Samuli Lappalainen he got 4th place with the time 16,27 on 6 km race. Congratulations, Urmo and many thanks to Samuli for skiing and to Jenni for driving Urmo to train and to the competition! Great work with the young boy!
31st January 2010 - Halla competed in agility: 5 faults from the first course (bar) and disqulified from the second.
24th January 2010- Show results from Turku: Bandit youth class exc3, Blizzard youth class very good4 and Eico working class very good1, that makes Eico to meet the breeding requirements of the Finnish Belgian Sheperd Organization. Unfortunately Blade and Brego were excused because of their behavior against each other. Bilehile couldn't participate after having got a wound by hitting an ice drill accidentally the day before.
17th January 2010 - Halla and Udo competed in agility: Halla was disqualified at the 2nd class agility course but did great work at the jumping course, only unfortunately the very last bar fell and so the result was 5 faults and 4th place. Udo got disqualified at the 1st class jumping course, and 10 faults at the agility course.

The judge was Willemine van Deijl who called our sweet "little" boys "showponys". Bilehile got junior class good (Bente Harlem). 2nd August 2009 - Halla started her heat - over two months earlier than expected, at the same time with her daughter Hile. Because we already had a lot of plans for the autumn before puppies, we decided to put off the C-litter for the spring 2010. 18th July 2009 - Show result from Lammi: Brego junior class excellent1, CAC and BOS! The judge was Maret Kärdi.
5th July 2009 - Eico got the title HK1! Eico competed for the first time in search and got the title HK1 with 191/200 points from the search trial and 85 from obedience - total 276 p. and 1st place!
3rd July 2009 - Halla got her final 0-result in agility for the 2nd class! Halla competed two courses in agility - the first one with 5 faults and the second one with a quick (-14,64) 0-result and 2nd place. The next time she'll start in the 2nd class.

- Halla became Finnish Working Champion! Halla got her final tracking result in the highest class for the title of Finnish Working Champion in tracking with 276/300 points (91 p. in obedience and 185 p. in the tracking trial).

- Udo and Sari got 1st prize in obedience in Ikaalinen with 168,5 points in the beginner class! Congratulations and thank you again, Sari & Udo!
- 0-result for Halla in agility! Halla competed in agility after a year pause and got a wished 0-result with -11,77 seconds time and 2nd place.
25th April 2009 - Udo passed the BH-test in Ylöjärvi! Congratulations and thank you, Sari & Udo!

14th March 2009 - Four puppies of the B-litter were presented at the international dog show in Tampere. Bilehile was chosen BOS-puppy with HP. Brego was 2nd at the male puppies and got HP, Bandit was at the 3rd place and Blizzard at the 4th. You can read the critics of Bilehile over here.
1st March 2009 - Halla competed in ski joring and got the 3rd place with the time of 13.22,54 (women line B, 5 km). With this result she won the Pohjois-Häme District Championships.
8th February 2009 - Bandit and Bilehile did some ring training at the puppy show in Helsinki. Bandit was the only male in the class and got an honour prize with BOS-placement.
23th January 2009 - We have sad news: the male chosen to be the father of Talvihallan C-litter, Uvar Eresha Kuymal, succumbed to lyphosarcoma at 19th January 2009. However, we'll follow our plan and Halla will be inseminated with Uvar's semen around the turn of the year 2010. More information on the puppies-page. We are so sorry for Peggy about losing Uvar!
11th January 2009 - The sire for the next Talvihallan litter has been chosen and the puppy plans -page is updated.
18th October 2008 - Eico participated the unofficial breed survey of the Finnish Belgian Sheperd Club. You can read the results over here.
2nd September 2008 - The B-litter visited the vet today. One male puppy has got a hook tail that propably is hereditary - we will x-ray it later to have a diagnosis. Otherwise all the puppies had everything all right and all males have got normal testicles.
14th August 2008 - Eico begun his obedience career also with 1st prize! He got 184 points, 1st place and an honour prize. You can find the results over here.
9th August 2008 - Eico got his first working result JK1 (tracking) in Ylöjärvi with 295 points out of 300! Photos of the exam.
18th July 2008 - Puppies are born! Halla has whelped 6 male puppies and 1 female puppy. Halla and the puppies are doing very well.

16th June 2008 - We will have puppies! The ultrasound scan showed us today that Halla is definitely pregnant. She is becoming bigger (as the photo proves) and we are waiting the puppies to be born around the middle of July.

9th June 2008 - Eico passed the behaviour test (BH) in Nokia.
18th May 2008 - Our trip to Austria was successfull and Halla has now been mated with Faro. We expect puppies to be born on the week 29. More information about the combination on the puppies page.
1st May 2008 - Halla started her season and we'll travel to meet Faro on the week 20. If everything goes as planned, the first Talvihallan puppies will be born around the middle of July. More information about the combination on the puppies page.
29th March 2008 - Halla was rewarded as the best tracking dog of the year 2007 of the Finnish Belgian Sheperd Club.
28th March 2008 - Halla was rewarded as the best working dog of the year 2007 in the Pohjois-Häme district.
1st March 2008 - Halla took part at the Finnish Championships in ski joring. In the class women line B we got the 6th place (out of 10) with the time 13,35 on 5 km race.

24th Feb 2008 - Halla competed in ski joring and got the 3rd place (out of 9). The class was women line B, the distance 5 km and the time 13.39.
16th Feb 2008 - Halla got her first 0-result in agility! With her time she ended up at the 3rd place on the first track of the day. On the second track Halla took the leadership on her own way and the result was - disqualified.
9th Feb 2008 - Halla competed in agility. At the first track of the day she took 5 faults. Although, her time was enough for the 2nd place, because nobody got 0 faults from the track. On the second track Halla was disqualified because of doing the tyre incorrectly.
9th Dec 2007 - Halla started for the first time in agility. The result from the very first start was 5 faults. The second start was disqualified.

3rd October 2011 - Brego passed the SAR test of the Finnish Police Force! Brego passed today the official search test of the Finnish Police Force and is now allowed to work as a SAR dog in emergency situations. Many congrats to Jenni & Urmo and thanks to Jenni for bringing Urmo to this level!
24th September 2011 - Halla won gold medal in the Breed Championships! Halla competed in the Finnish Belgian Sheperd Championships in versatile search trial and won the gold medal with 275 p. (search trials 189 p.,86 obedience). 
18th September 2011 - Hile got silver medal at the District Championships in tracking! Hile participated for the first time in the 3rd class tracking trial and got her first JK3 with 264 points (tracking trial 190, obedience 74) and the silver medal in the District Championships. There were 12 dogs taking part and three of them qualified at the trial.
14th August 2011 - Eico at the Finnish Working Championships! Eico got the 13th place (of 53 dogs) at the Finnish Working Dog Championships in tracking with the result of 85 p. in obedience and 174 p. in the tracking trial, total 259 p. and 2nd prize. 
13th August 2011 - Tha father of the planned D-litter, Imany got his second MR1 in Waidhofen, Austria, with 165 points. Many congrats to Imany & Sebastian!
31st July 2011 - 0-result for Halla in agility! Halla ran two agility courses in Janakkala and did a clean run on the first one with the time -7,06 and 6th place.

23rd Jan 2011 Show results from Turku international dog show: California BOB & Cougar BOS in the puppy class, Bilehile working class exc1, 4th best female, res-cac and Bandit, Blizzard & Brego very good in the open class. The judge was Suncica Lazic from Serbia. Many congrats to Sari & Kete for the success and thanks to Timo, Nina & Jenni of showing our boys!
9th Jan 2011 - Brego competed in ski joring with Samuli Lappalainen in Toivakka and got 5th place on the 6 km race with the time 18.14. Congratulations Urmo & Samuli!
28.11.2010 - Show result from Helsinki: Cuyama did her show debut in Helsinki and got 3rd place in the class of 5-7 months old female puppies. Many thanks to Hanna & Yusu for showing Sysi!
7th November 2010 Halla jumped into the 3rd class in agility! Halla continued her fast moves at agility courses in Lieto and got 0-result and certificate for the 3rd class from the first course of the day with 1st place!
15th August 2010 - Talvihallan team competed at the obedience breed Championships with following results: Bilehile beginner class 170 p., 1-prize and 3rd place, Brego beginner class 141,5 p. (down in motion 0 p.), 2-prize and 5th place and Udo winner class 214 p. (sit in motion 0 p.), 3-prize ja 2nd place.

7th April 2010 - Puppies expected! Halla was inseminated today and everything went fine. We expect the puppies to be born on June the 6th. You can find more information of the following litter on the puppies page.
7th March 2010 - Hile started her working dog career by competing in ski joring: in the class women line B she got the very promising 5th place (out of 11) with the time 15.08 at the 5 km race.
